The head of the UGCC urges the faithful to treat the representatives of other Churches with an open heart

"Today, more than ever, all the Churches in Ukraine are united in their efforts to protect their people. I urge the sons and daughters of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church to treat the representatives of other Churches and religious organizations with an open heart. In the circumstances of such a disaster, the unity of the Ukrainian Church is being forged, unity in the service of its suffering people," the Primate said.

The Head of the Church stressed that in the current war of Russia against Ukraine, the civilian population is the main victim. Churches and religious communities, including the Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations, which unites 95 percent of Ukraine's religious community, have raised their voice to protect the innocent, civilian population of Ukraine.

"We must do everything today so that the world might hear the voice of the Churches, the cries of Ukraine, to see the rivers of blood and the sea of ​​tears that are now poured out on the lands of Ukraine," added the Head of the UGCC.
