The Head of the UGCC appointed a new spiritual father for Federation of Ukrainian Catholic Academic and Student Associations Obnova

The Father and Head of the UGCC His Beatitude Sviatoslav designated Fr. Yuriy Blazhyevskiy a spiritual father for Federation of Ukrainian Catholic Academic and Student Associations “Obnova” for three years term according to the Decree of the Head of the Church from June 29, 2021.

“Caring for spiritual development of academic association of Catholic students “Obnova”, taking into consideration a request made by the President of the Federation, esteemed Mrs. Iryna Nosyk (Zayats) and considering an opinion of a provincial superior of the Orione Fathers Congregation Rev. Aurelio Fuzi, we, by the power vested in us, according to the regulation of can. 939, p.1 of CCEO, we designate You, Fr. The Decree to a newly appointed spiritual father was handed by Fr. Rostyslav Pendiuk, the head of the Patriarchal Commission on Youth Affairs.
