The enthronement of the new Apostolic Exarch of Germany, Bishop Bohdan Dziurakh, will take place in Munich

On Saturday, April 18, 2021, at 10:00 (European time) in the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Andrew the First-Called in Munich the enthronement of the new Apostolic Exarch for Germany and Scandinavia, Bishop Bohdan Dziurakh will take place.

A live broadcast of the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy with the Order of Enthronement is planned on Zhyve TV.

This was announced by Bishop Petro Kryk, Apostolic Administrator and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, on the official website of the Exarchate for Ukrainian Catholics of the Byzantine Rite in Germany and Scandinavia.

"By prior arrangement and given the pandemic situation, the solemn introduction of the newly appointed exarch to the episcopal throne of the Apostolic Exarchate will take place on April 18, 2021 at 10:00 in the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Apostle Andrew the First Called in Munich. The event will be held online, with the participation of the representatives of the Church and state authorities," the letter reads.

"The link for online participation will be posted on the official website of the Apostolic Exarchate (http://www.ukrainische-kirche.de/) in a timely manner. We welcome your written wishes and greetings. There will be opportunity to personally congratulate the new Apostolic Exarch when the quarantine restrictions end,” emphasized Bishop Petro Kryk.
