His Beatitude Sviatoslav, the Father and Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church asked the faithful and people of good will to respond to the Holy Father's call for universal prayer and fasting for peace in Ukraine, which will take place tomorrow, March 2.

“I call on all the daughters of our Church in Ukraine and in the settlements to prepare for this day and spend it in fasting and prayer," said the Major Archbishop.

His Beatitude Sviatoslav asked us to pray not only for peace in Ukraine, but also for our enemies, for their conversion, for the conversion of Russia, as our Lady of Fatima asked us.

“I send you God's blessing, which is the transmission of the power of the grace of the Holy Spirit, the peace of Christ be with you all”, he blessed.

We remind you that on February 23, 2022, during the General Audience, Pope Francis proclaimed the Day of Lent for Peace in Ukraine. The Holy Father proposed to hold it this Wednesday, March 2.
