Head of UGCC met up with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine

February 7, 2017 Father and Head of UGCC His Beatitude Sviatoslav met up with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin on the request of the second one.

At the beginning Minister expressed his high esteem and gratitude to our Church with all its structures for supporting Ukraine on international level. He also appreciated a cooperation between diplomatic institutions of our Church and Ukrainian State.

During the meeting they discussed the most important challenges Ukraine is facing today regarding international relations. Emerging from the meeting it was agreed to make a further plan of cooperation between Greek Catholic Church and Ministry for Foreign Affairs for an appropriate positioning on the international level of national interests of our Homeland.
