Such meetings are important as the issues raised by the participants from USA and western Europe differ from the situation of the countries of eastern Europe. "Due to the historic circumstances of the last century, our church mass media are not so spread and developed as in other European countries. In addition, access to the Internet is not sufficient everywhere. Therefore, we have to develop special approaches in the work of spreading the teaching of the church in our countries," noted the participants of the meeting. The members of the UGCC delegation also met with representatives of the Ukrainian community in Rome and Italy, the faithful and priests of the parish of St. Sergius, and Bachus in Rome. They also visited the Apostolic Visitator for Ukrainian Greek Catholics in Italy Bishop Dionisii (Liuakhovych). More about the congress can be found at the following website:  www.pccs.va.
