Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church launches new site

The new site will provide important information on the structure of the UGCC, in particular the map of all dioceses and exarchates, the composition of the Synod of Bishops with the relevant data of its members, historical information related to the rulers of the UGCC in Ukraine and in the settlements, who performed their episcopal ministry in the past.

In addition, the site will help monitor the activities of the Synod of Bishops of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church by submitting the following publications:

• news on the preparation and progress of the Holy Synod,

• interviews and comments from its participants,

• decrees, communications, poster letters and other documents approved during the synodal meetings.

Also, the press service of the Secretariat of the Synod aims to highlight the pastoral activities of the members of the Synod of Bishops of the UGCC by providing the following information:

• biographies of the Bishops of the Synod of Bishops of the UGCC,

• The most important events in the life of dioceses and exarchates,

• position of certain bishops in connection with important events of church and public life,

• interviews and comments, sermons and speeches from the UGCC rulers, in particular the Chairman of the Synod - His Beatitude Sviatoslav, and the Secretary of the Synod - Reverend Bishop Bohdan Dziurakh.

It is worth emphasizing the creation of a library of various kinds of religious publications, photo reports, video and audio materials, as well as archives of documents of previous meetings of the Synod.
