UGCC will celebrate a Day of Religious Persons

UGCC Patriarchal Commission on Matters of Monasticism announced that this year’s celebration of the Day of Religious Persons will begin on February 14th with Evening Vespers and a Litany, to be followed by a conference with the participation of Bishop Benedict (Aleksiychuk), Auxiliary Bishop of the Lviv UGCC Archeparchy. The conference will take place in the Monastery of the Sisters of the Holy Family in Lviv.

UGCC Patriarchal Commission on Matters of Monasticism announced that this year’s celebration of the Day of Religious Persons will begin on February 14th with Evening Vespers and a Litany, to be followed by a conference with the participation of Bishop Benedict (Aleksiychuk), Auxiliary Bishop of the Lviv UGCC Archeparchy. The conference will take place in the Monastery of the Sisters of the Holy Family in Lviv.

On the Day of the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, the celebrations will begin with a Pontifical Divine Liturgy headed by Bishop Ihor Vozniak, Archbishop and Metropolitan of Lviv. This will be followed by celebratory reception and a Nativity Play presented by Sisters of the Holy Protection Nunnery Studite Order. All the celebrations will take place in the Monastery of the Sisters of the Holy Family(15 Yavlivets St. in Lviv). All religious persons of all UGCC Orders and Congregations are invited to the celebration.
