UGCC Bishops visit Apostolic Nunciature in Kyiv

On February 18, 2013, members of UGCC Permanent Synod of Bishops visited the Apostolic Nunciature in Kyiv. The bishops informed Archbishop Thomas Edward Gullickson, Apostolic Nuncio in Ukraine, of the results of their deliberations on the realization of the International All-Church Pilgrimage to the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Kyiv in celebration of the 1025th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus-Ukraine, to be held on August 18th and the blessing of the Cathedral itself during the pilgrimage.

The bishops also shared their impressions of their visit in the last few days to the parishes in the Donetsk-Kharkiv Exarchate.  We note, in particular, that they headed Divine Liturgies in Kharkiv, Poltava and Sumy.
