Triple jubilee for Metropolitan Ivan (Martynyak)

On Sunday, July 5, a three-day celebration will begin as part of the triple jubilee for Most Reverend Bishop Ivan, Metropolitan of Peremyshl-Warsaw of the UGCC. It will be his 70^th birthday, 45^th anniversary of priesthood and 20^th anniversary of his Episcopal ordination. 

Triple Jubilee Program

July 5 (Sunday) 6:00pm – celebratory concert with the sacral music of “Sintagma” at the Cathedral in Peremyshl.  July 6 (Monday) 6:00pm – presentation of the Jubilee book and documentary film “The Bishop” by Gzhegozh Polacka in the chapel and assembly hall of the Metropolitan consistory on 13 Bashtanova St. July (Tuesday)
Celebration of honest and glorious prophet St. John the Baptist and Forerunner 10:00am – prayer service to all patron Saints of the Ukrainian nation 10:30am – celebratory offering of symbolic earth-ashes of beatific Omelyan Kovch 11:00am – Hierarch Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral which will be led by the Most Reverend Bishop Ivan (Martynyak), Metropolitan of Peremyshl-Warsaw of the UGCC. www.cerkiew.net/news.php
