“The UGCC’s Conception of Evangelization”

An academic conference called “The UGCC’s Conception of Evangelization” was organized by the Patriarchal Commission of the UGCC on Matters of Evangelization, which took place in thr Lviv Spiritual Seminary of the Holy Spirit on June 29-30, 2010. The conference began with a Hierarchal Divine Liturgy in the seminary church, which was led by Bishop Taras Senkiv, Apostolic Administrator of the Eparchy of Stryj of the UGCC, the head of the Patriarchal Commission on Matters of Evangelization of the UGCC. During the two-day conference which included six plenary meetings, representatives from all the eparchies of the UGCC in Ukraine, leading theologians, and representatives of monastic orders and educational institutions examined the followings topics: Evangelization and the Mission – the Way of life of the Church, Understanding Evangelization, Reasons of Evangelization, Recipients of Evangelization, The Triadological Dimension of the Conception of Evangelization, The Ecclesial Dimension of Conception of Evangelization, Basic Aspects of the Evangelistic Message of the UGCC.
