Students of Kyiv were familiarized with the features of consecrated life

On March 3, 2010, the students of the Kyiv University of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine met with nuns. The sisters Yanuaria Isyk, OSBM, and Anastasia Balinska, SSMI, told the students about the history of monastic orders. In addition, every sister shared the story of her personal vocation. According to them, the sense of vocation is to serve to the Divine people and the church by prayer.
On March 3, 2010, the students of the Kyiv University of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine met with nuns. The sisters Yanuaria Isyk, OSBM, and Anastasia Balinska, SSMI, told the students about the history of monastic orders. In addition, every sister shared the story of her personal vocation. According to them, the sense of vocation is to serve to the Divine people and the church by prayer. At the completion of the meeting the sisters answered the question of the students. According to Sister Anastasia, students were interested in the monastic names, clothes, and the daily life of the nuns; they wanted to know more about the vows of obedience, eternal vows, monastic constitutions, and communication with relatives.  The meeting took place on the invitation of Fr. Petro Zhuk, the head of Catechetical Commission of the Kyivan Archeparchy of the UGCC.
