Sisters Servants arranged retreats for girls

Retreats for girls took place in the monastery of Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate in Nadvirna, Ivano – Frankivsk region on July 17-21, 2019.

Fifteen girls from Lviv and Ivano – Frankivsk regions took part in it. The retreat speakers were Sr. Daria Pitulyk, Sr. Andreia Yakymets and Sr. Anastasia Zabrotska.

It was a time of prayer and silence, time to put personal questions and seek the answers to them, time to listen to yourself and God, time of joy and unity in Christ.

Blessed martyr Tarsykia Matskiv was chosen to be the patroness of the retreats, as on July 17 we commemorate 75 years since her martyr death.

“Our life is a continuous struggle and only from beneath the cross our souls get heroic and noble”, these words of Sr. Tarsykia, which became a motto for the retreats, helped to view life from a different perspective, not as we used to see and accept things in a contemporary world.

Another important part of the retreats was reflections with Gospel, understanding oneself and life itself.

“God gave us beautiful days and good mood, glory to Him for everything”, say the participants of the retreats.
