Presentation of two books of Archbishop Myroslav (Marusyn) in Lviv

On February 23, 2009, at the Lviv Institute of Ethnology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the presentation of two new books of the emeritus Secretary of the Congregation for the Oriental Churches of the Vatican, Archbishop Myroslav (Marusyn), took place.
On February 23, 2009, at the Lviv Institute of Ethnology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the presentation of two new books of the emeritus Secretary of the Congregation for the Oriental Churches of the Vatican, Archbishop Myroslav (Marusyn), took place. One book is devoted to the figure of Greek-Catholic Archbishop Ivan (Buchka), and in the second book, «My life is Christ,» Archbishop Myroslav (Marusyn) shared with readers his reflections on the 60th anniversary of his priestly ministry. At the presentation were present Greek-Catholic and Roman Catholic clergy, researchers, and representatives of the Lviv public. The following spoke about the contribution of Archbishop Myroslav to the treasury of Ukrainian knowledge and the value of the presented books: Archbishop of Lviv Ihor (Voznyak); Bishop emeritus Sofron (Mudryj) from Ivano-Frankivs’k; Professor Stephan Pavlyuk, director of the Institute of Ethnology of the NAS of Ukraine; Professor Yaroslav Dashkevych, doctor of historical sciences, head of the М. Hrushevskyj Institute of Ukrainian Archaeology and History of the NAS of Ukraine; Father Prokopiy Lototskyj, OSBM, chaplain of the Ukrainian Pontifical College of Saint Josaphat in Rome; and Doctor Mikhailo Perun, editor and compiler of these publications. www.ugcc.lviv.ua/index.php
