At the end of the general audience which took place on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, the Pontifical greeting was again heard in Ukrainian. Pope Benedict XVI greeted the delegation of the Ukrainian military led by Bishop Mikhail (Koltun) that took part in the international military pilgrimage to Lourdes.

Pope Benedict XVI greeted the delegation of the Ukrainian military led by Bishop Mikhail (Koltun) that took part in the international military pilgrimage to Lourdes. He said:  I sincerely welcome the Ukrainian military, the participants of the international military pilgrimage to Lourdes, and pray that the Holy Mother of God will watch over them and their families.
