The Apostolic Administrator of the Eparchy of Buchach Fr. Dmytro Hryhorak in concelebration with priests of different denominations blessed the memorial complex. The speakers noted that the event is not only a dedication to the memory of the fallen soldiers but also a great warning for future generations. "Our freedom-loving country, which as history attests, has never waged aggressive wars and does not want the younger generations to arm themselves for military purposes. The task of the army is to ensure a peaceful life for the citizens," said one of the speakers.
For his assistance in building the memorial, organizational committee awarded Fr. W. Zabolotnyj, vicar in matters of the laity in the Buchach Eparchy, with an honor certificate.
