Installation of the new Exarch of Odesa will take place in April

On April 7th, the Feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Mother, in the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Kyiv ( 5 Mykilsko-Slobidska St.) the Rite of Ordination as an Archbishop of Mykhailo Bubniy,CSSR, will take place.

The Installation (entrance to the office) of the new Odesa Exarch will take place on April 12^th, on Lazarus Saturday, in the Church of the Holy Apostle Andriy Pervozvanyi ( 22/24 Hymnazychna vul.) On the day of the installation, the decree of UGCC Head and Father His Beatitude Sviatoslav appointing the Exarch Odesa Administrator of the vacant newly-created Crimea Exarchate, will be read.

Also Pope Francis approved the candidate, canonically-selected by the Synod of Bishops Most Reverend Mykhailo Bubniy as the Odesa Exarch. At present, he is the superior of the Redemptorist Fathers in Ivano-Frankivsk and the pastor of the Church of the Blessed Mother of Perpetual Help, granting him a titular seat in Tubursik - Bure.
