“I am coming, Christ”

On February 9 at 19:00 at the Les’ Kurbas National Theatre Center (Kyiv) will take place the presentation “I am coming, Christ.” The presentation was blessed by His Beatitude Lubomyr, Head of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church. The presentation was created from the books of Hryhir Meriyam-Luzhnyts’kyj «Twelve letters of Fr. Andrey Sheptytsky to his mother» (an artistic work based on authentic letters) and the memoirs «The youth and vocation of Fr. Roman Sheptytsky,» written by the mother of the metropolitan, Sofia Sheptytska, from the Fredra family. The director is an honored worker of the arts of Ukraine, Iryna Volyts’ka. Sofia (the mother of Andrey Sheptytsky) is played by an honored actress of Ukraine and winner of the Kotlyarevs’kyi prize, Lidiya Danyl'chuk.
