His Beatitude Sviatoslav: "Society should stimulate the disclosure of shooting of Heaven Hundred"

In investigating the shooting of Heaven Hundred Ukrainian society needs justice, but not revenge. That was said by the Father and Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church His Beatitude Sviatoslav in His Christmas interview with "Channel 5".

"We need justice. This is what we demand. And when justice is not full of love, it turns to revenge. In our today's society, renewed by the Revolution of dignity, we need this justice. It is therefore quite naturally that we demand justice in the investigation of crimes on Maidan, or in other areas of life"- remarked the Head of the Church.

He expressed His hope that the justice will triumph. "We really want to hear the names of the culprits. Not to pour onto someone our hatred, but to really improve our society. It is obvious that society should stimulate and to some extent contribute to make these crimes investigated", - says His Beatitude Sviatoslav.

Yes, He said, we really want these crimes to be investigated promptly. "But I think that to be truly objective and fair, sometimes you need to wait. For example, only recently the Polish policemen, who abused the Polish Solidarity hero, were abused. Almost 30 years have passed. I hope we will not wait so much, but we really need to heal our society and build it based on Christian justice"- said the Head of the UGCC.
