His Beatitude Sviatoslav showed Cardinal Kurt Koch the buildings of UGCC Patriarchal Center

On June 7^th, Cardinal Kurt Koch, President of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, visited UGCC Patriarchal Center in Kyiv.  The guest was accompanied by Archbishop Thomas Edward Gallickson, Apostolic Nuncio for Ukraine.  A tour of the buildings of the main Cathedral of all Greek-Catholics was conducted by His Beatitude Sviatoslav and Bishop Joseph (Milan), head of the Building Overseer Council of UGCC Patriarchal Center.

UGCC Head related to the visitor from the Vatican the history and current state of  UGCC Patriarchal Cathedral in Kyiv and informed him about the blessing  planned for August 17-18, 2013.

The High Prelate from the Apostolic Capital was impressed by what he saw and wished UGCC faithful Godspeed in completing the construction and the artistic adornment of this sacred edifice.

As was announced, on June 7, 2013, (6-7:30 PM) in the Institute of  St. Thomas Aquinas located on 13 Yakir St. in Kyiv, there will be a round table discussion with Cardinal Kurt Koch as the main speaker.  Other speakers include:  His Beatitude Sviatoslav (Shevchuk), UGCC Head; Archbishop Thomas Edward Gallickson, Apostolic Nuncio for Ukraine; Metropolitan Antoniy (Pakanych), Manager of UOC (MP); Archbishop Petro Herkulian (Malchuk), Ordinary of Kyiv-Zhytomyr RC Diocese in Ukraine.

Also Cardinal Kurt Koch will visit Lviv where he will meet with lecturers and students at UCU and will visit the Sviato-Uspensk Univ Lavra.   On June 10^th the President of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity will visit Uzhhorod and Mukachevo.
