His Beatitude Sviatoslav about Pope John Paul II

“The Pope told me: ‘Go back to Ukraine, there you will have plenty of work to do’” – these words were said 12 years ago by Pope John Paul II to a young Rev. Doctor Sviatoslav Shevchuk, nowadays the Head of the UGCC.     On the Eve of the Beatification of John Paul II, the Head of the UGCC in Rome shared his views on the personality of the Pope.
