First ski camp for Youth of Incarnate Word held in Bukovel

From February 15 to 19, 2012, at Bukovel ski resort in Ivano-Frankivsk, the first Carpathian ski camp for the Youth of the Incarnate Word was held. Thirty participants headed by organizer of the camp Fr. Sofronii Zelinsky spent four days relaxing and improving their skills in skiing, said Vasyl Tsidylo. Spiritual conversations with priests and contemplation against the breathtaking landscapes of the winter Carpathian Mountains filled the hearts of all the participants with true joy. Camps for older children, teens, and youth have become a tradition for priests of the community of the Incarnate Word. They have been held annually since 2001 and have about 80 participants. Living for a week in a tent camp, young people are able not just to relax but also to reflect on Gospel truths, to participate in daily Liturgy, confession and communicate with priests.
