Factory of St. Nicholas in Lviv

Today at the Lviv Palace of Arts, the Factory of St. Nicholas began to operate as part of the charity event St. Nicholas Will Not Forget You. During the week about 700 students will work in the factory. Despite exams time, the volunteers devote their time to help St. Nicholas visit all the children of Lviv. At the factory gifts will be received, sorted, wrapped, and addressed. There will also be an exhibition of Christmas crafts that were made by pupils and students in the Office of St. Nicholas in Lviv.   We invite all people of good will to donate toys, candy, stationery, and children's books to the Factory of St. Nicholas until December 17. On December 18, the day all children expect miracles, the volunteers – assistants of St. Nicholas – will distribute the gifts to children at 3,600 different locations in the city. “The purpose is for as many people as possible to feel joy and happiness from the help others. Through the promotion of the St. Nicholas Will Not Forget You, thousands of people will unwrap the gift of mercy and charity,” coordinator Olena Yaermko said.
