Courses for teachers of Catholic schools were held in Lviv

Representatives of UGCC Commission on Issues of Education and Upbringing held theology courses for teachers of Catholic schools in Lviv during June 3-6, 2013. These courses were meant to raise the qualifications of teachers of theological disciplines. This was reported by the Secretariat of UGCC Commission on Issues of Education and Upbringing.

Representatives of UGCC Commission on Issues of Education and Upbringing held theology courses for teachers of Catholic schools in Lviv during June 3-6, 2013.  These courses were meant to raise the qualifications of teachers of theological disciplines.  This was reported by the Secretariat of UGCC Commission on Issues of Education and Upbringing.

Courses were offered to teachers of Catholic schools who have not had the opportunity to enhance their knowledge in the branch of theology studies. The pedagogues extended their knowledge in the following subjects:  Introduction to Biblical Studies; History of Christianity and Christian Thought; Foundations of Christian Education and Upbringing.

In addition to the meetings and courses, there were also evening programs offered, particularly a trip to the Sviato-Uspenska Univ Lavra and an excursion of Lviv.  There were over 40 participants who were teachers from 15 Catholic educational-upbringing institutions with which the UGCC Commission has established a cooperative relationship.
