Caritas Kolomyya won the competition "Charitable Ukraine – 2012"

Father Serhiy Tryf'yak, director of CF "Caritas of Kolomyya and Chernivtsi Eparchy", came back from Kyiv with the victorious angel statuette, as well as with the diploma, which indicates that the Foundation won the competition "Charitable Ukraine - 2012" in the nomination "The Philanthropist - Regional Charitable fund ".

The Development of Charity in Ukraine - is an important factor in the development of Ukrainian society in general, the organizers of the national contest "Charitable Ukraine - 2012" are convinced. Association of Philanthropists Ukraine founded this contest so as to mark the best of benefactors and most effective charitable initiatives in Ukraine in order to promote philanthropy as an example of effective work with the community and effective way of solving urgent social problems.

Over the recent years, the CF "Caritas of Kolomyya and Chernivtsi Eparchy" carried out a number of social projects, as well as it traditionally holds large-scale charitable events. Caritas Kolomyya has proven itself as a reliable friend to all people who found themselves in difficult life circumstances. Such a vigorous activity and social position have not gone unnoticed by the contest organizers.

Few weeks ago, a letter came to Caritas, in which it was reported that CF "Caritas of Kolomyya and Chernivtsi Diocese" became one of the contest laureates. However, the determination and the announcement of the winners “Charitable Ukraine - 2012" took place in the capital, in the Ukrainian House. Father Serhiy admits that winning a national competition was an extremely pleasant surprise. "Our victory - is the result of hard daily work of Caritas employees. To a great extent, it also belongs to those people who trust and assist Caritas "- said at the presentation of the award the director of Caritas of Kolomyya.
