Blessing of renovated building of the Ivano-Frankivs’k Spiritual Seminary

On February 12 Bishop Volodymyr (Viytyshyn), Eparch of Ivano-Frankivsk, blessed one of the floors of the residential building of the Ivano-Frankivsk Spiritual Seminary. “…It is a good beginning, let the Lord bless this work for the good and spiritual teaching of future pastors,” remarked the bishop in a short speech after the blessing, and also thanked all who were involved in this work. It is worth noting that such work is truly a good beginning, in fact due to the skilled work, the repair of one of the floors was completed quickly and successfully. The next step, which already began, is the repair of the next floors, the building of new educational auditoriums, and renovation of the building near the new building of the Ivano-Frankivsk eparchy administration. Once the temperature rises, complete repair of the facade of the building of the Ivano-Frankivsk Spiritual Seminary will be made. At the completion Fr. Oleh Kaskiv, Ph.D., the rector of the seminary thanked the Bishop, as a spiritual father and mentor to the seminarians, and also the economic and other departments of the Ivano-Frankivsk eparchy administration that are involved in the renovation of the seminary.
