Chaplain Volodymyr Levchenko, whom the boys in Pryluky know and love, was one of the volunteers. Without his involvement, the best meetings may have not take place successfully. “For me the most important experience of each trip to a penitentiary is the personal conversation with the inmates that teaches them to love their brothers in Christ. These meetings are small steps toward Christ,” said brother Volodymyr. At the end the event, the boys received pictures of St. Nicholas and heard Christmas carols with musical accompaniment by Daniel Verbovetskyi, a musician from the Bandurist National Music Academy.
