A new Christian television program “Signs of the Time”

On the Ivano-Frankivsk regional TV channel Halychyna on the benediction of Bishop Volodymyr (Viytyshyn), Eparch of Ivano-Frankivsk, a new Christian program “Signs of the Time” created by the Christian TV studio Apostle with support by the publishing house Nova Zorya and the Youth Commission of the Ivano-Frankivsk Eparchy of UGCC is being aired. The informative partner of the program is radio Dzvony – 105,8 FM. The theme of the first episode of “Signs of the Time” is Christ’s Resurrection. In the second episode the program devoted to the Day of the Sick (Sunday of the weakened – on April 25) we will reflect on faith and healing, doctors and patients. It will air on Saturday, April 24.  The TV studio Apostle operates from October 2008. The purpose of the activity of Apostle is evangelization through television and popularization of the UGCC in the mass media. In 2009 the TV studio created films about the vertep of the community Emmanuel of the monasteries of Fathers Basilian (Mayzli), the festival of the Christian city “Upwards Hearts-2009,” the pilgrimage of Basilian youth to Goshiv, and the figure of Father Ihor Mikhaylyak, C.S.S.R. Also the Christian satellite TV channel CNL-Ukraine reported on events of the church life of the Ivano-Frankivsk Eparchy of UGCC.
